Learning Communities?
Is anyone going to join a learning community (particularly the pre-health one)? I just got a letter about pre-med advising and was wondering if other pre-med students were planning to participate.

I'm joining the pre-law one (Learning Community #13). I hope I enjoy the classes and find my calling in life.
so... what is this learning community concept?
I'm pre-med and I joined Learning Community #10. It has Bau as a chemistry teacher and I've been recommended to take his chem class by numerous people.
the pre-med one looks interesting, but I don't know if I should sign up. still thinking about it. what else have you heard erica?
can we join one as a sophmore? and do we need to take both or can we take just one?
I talked to someone about the Learning Communities, and they said that I probably shouldn't do it since I'm signed up for Thematic Option.
I've heard the first few on the list, with Film studies or whatever, fill up fast.
i just looked up some info about the learning communities, and apparently they're only open to freshmen in the college of letters, arts, and sciences. so since i won't be taking bio and chem until next year and i'm in the viterbi school, i suppose i won't be joining one.

Hahaha. http://www.usc.edu/learningcommunities is the home page for CLAS Learning Communities. Why are they wearing disguises? Because they want to! I think it's funny. Read the descriptions.
i joined learning community #10 too...but I don't know if I'm going to stick through with it. I wanted to find out more about the freshman science honors program, but i've heard its pretty pointless. but for now looks like erica and I are going to be in the same classes!
It will be nice to have somebody to study with!
