Learning Communities?

Is anyone going to join a learning community (particularly the pre-health one)? I just got a letter about pre-med advising and was wondering if other pre-med students were planning to participate.

Titles...never been good at those

Hey RHP kids! I'm Becca Dorman, from Carlsbad, CA.
I'm not really sure what to say, but I think that this blogger deal is a really good idea, Elliot!

*edit* so now I've thought of a few things. I'm going to Orientation June 30th-July 1st. Anyone else?

And a random conversation starter: what is your favorite quote?

College Confidential thread

Hi everyone, Jenny already posted a comment about this, but I just want to make it more visible. About five of us have been actively communicating with one another on a thread in the College Confidential forums. Find it here. It may be of interest to all those who have not been involved in it. At 12 pages and 232 posts, it'll take a while to read. But don't worry, we'll all get to know one another soon. Summer is just around the corner! Anyone have junioritis?

welcome to the RHPblog!

this blog is for those who are in or somehow involved with the resident honors program at the university of southern california. for more information, see the official RHP website.

let me start the blog with a quick overview of the purpose and goals of this blog. although this blog is sure to change and evolve over the next few days (as i begin to tell RHPers about it), i will lay out my preliminary ideas and see where it goes from here.

ideally, this will not be like the millions of "xangas" and online journals that are littering the internet. instead, it will be a place where RHPers can inform friends, family, and peers about what is going on with regards to their college experience. it's unique in that we are leaving high school early - that is, skipping senior year. it is sure to be of interest not only to each other, but also to our families and to prospective students who are looking to the program. to that end, i hope that it becomes a useful resource and offers valuable insight into the lives of students who are going to college a year early.

who knows what will happen when other RHPers start posting on this blog?
