Classes are different in college
I don't know about everyone else, but I've noticed one thing about my classes: the professors don't have their own classrooms. They move from room to room, depending on the class they're teaching. Unlike high school, they can't leave stuff in the classroom, or always have their bookshelf of reference manuals handy. In addition, most of my classes have chalkboards (some have whiteboards). In high school, it was all whiteboards, and much more standardized (the classrooms were all more similar). Here, every place is different (and there are a ton of places)!
