The next

Admissions for USC for the class of 2010 are rolling in. Yesterday, I got interviewed by a senior from Troy for the school newspaper. Basically, she wanted to know why I chose to skip senior year and what has my experience been since making that decision. I don't regret it at all. The only thing I may regret, perhaps, is that I (or other people) haven't taken very many pictures of my freshman year of college. I'm not too much of a picture person. It annoys me when people constantly take pictures instead of cherishing an experience. But it takes a lot of picture-taking to reach that point. I like good pictures. I just don't like an endless stream of meaningless, boring pictures. College is life, after all, and if I don't take a lot of pictures of what I do normally in my life, then why would what I do normally at college be any different? But I think perhaps, maybe, possibly, if there were more pictures, it would be better.

I have a lot of reading to do. I don't know, bio and chem and science courses are hard, but it's tough to read a 200-page turn of the 20th century novel, 75 pages of reading about Buddhism, one or two chapters of microeconomics, and 50 pages of Supreme Court cases in one week. Please, no one tell me any more that bio and chem are hard. I already know. School is not easy. Got to put in those hours.
